INFORMATION

Coach Lefurgy played for University of the Fraser Valley men’s basketball team. Upon graduation he taught and coached at Semiahmoo Secondary in Surrey BC. There he guided the Thunderbirds to eight trips to the Provincial Championships at various age levels. Most notably, the Thunderbirds won four Surrey RCMP Championships and two trips to the BC Finals (2018 & 2022). Coach Lefurgy was the assistant coach on the Boys BC Team in 2019 and also graduated from SFU with a Master’s in Education and in 2022 he also earned a Masters of Counselling.
